Brian Jantzen is a seasoned executive protection (EP) and corporate security leader, with over 30 years of experience launching, optimizing, and leading high-profile security programs. His career spans critical roles in major global corporations, where he built, refined, and turned around elite executive protection programs that set industry benchmarks for operational excellence and innovation.

Brian has successfully built, scaled, and revitalized EP programs across global organizations throughout his career. He spearheaded the launch of two high-profile programs, expanding them into worldwide operations. He also led a strategic turnaround to enhance EP efficiency and effectiveness. In another key role, he revitalized an existing EP program and played a crucial role in developing a new one from the ground up, ensuring long-term sustainability and operational success.

Previously, Brian was a key leader at AS Solution, helping transform the company into a globally recognized executive protection provider. His leadership contributed to AS Solution's expansion across multiple continents, delivering top-tier security services to Fortune 500 companies and high-net-worth individuals. During this time, the company successfully underwent two major acquisitions, culminating in his appointment as Executive Vice President of Executive Protection and Intelligence Services at Allied Universal.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Brian served as both an enlisted Marine and an officer, including combat duty in the first Gulf War. His military experience laid the foundation for his leadership philosophy, emphasizing discipline, adaptability, and operational precision.

Now an independent Executive Protection Advocate, Brian is dedicated to advancing the industry by incorporating more structure, science, and technology into executive protection. He works closely with industry professionals and corporate leaders to elevate standards, implement cutting-edge tools, and foster a strategic, proactive approach to risk management.

Brian is a co-author of Corporate Executive Protection: An Introduction for Corporations and Security Professionals and Public Figures, Private Lives: An Introduction to Protective Security for High Net Worth Individuals and Family Offices. His thought leadership extends to widely recognized works, including The Business of Executive Protection and How to Write a Corporate Executive Protection Strategy. A sought-after speaker and advisor, Brian continues to shape the future of executive protection through advocacy, writing, and mentorship.

Holding a BA in Sociology from the University of Washington and an Executive Education certificate from the Wharton School, Brian remains committed to empowering the EP industry through innovation, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to excellence. Brian is a member of the Nine Lives Associates and a recipient of the Dr. Richard W. Kobetz Achievement Award.
